Main Concept Reference DVCPRO HD plug-in native transcoding

Mfr # Plugin DVCPRO HD
( Main Concept )
Price: $ 560.00

MainConcept Reference DVCPRO HD is a full-featured DVCPRO 25/50/100 native video transcoding solution for Main Concept Reference. The plug-in enhances the encoder application by the capability to import and encode DV and DVCPRO HD. It is fully compliant with the following standards: DV (IEC-61834), DVCPRO 25 and DVCPRO 50 (SMPTE 314M) as well as DVCPRO-HD (SMPTE 370M). The plug-in allows you to output the clips into the DIF format. Main Concept Reference DVCPRO HD delivers considerably higher picture quality since it allows video data rates up to 100Mb/s. It supports all major RGB and YUV color spaces, including YUV 4:2:2. When Main Concept Reference DVCPRO HD is installed you have also the opportunity to decode DVCPRO 25, 50 and 100 frames in the Windows Media Player or similar DirectShow players. MainConcept Reference DVCPRO HD can only be used when Main Concept Reference is installed (not included).
The demo version of the MainConcept Reference is a kind of basic application which includes the most important MainConcept codecs as a demo. You can test the power of the codecs the way you already know from the popular MPEG Encoder and H.264 Encoder application, i.e. only a watermark is added to the converted clips. The available demo codecs in MainConcept Reference are the following:
  • MPEG-1 and MPEG-2
  • H.264/AVC (MPEG-4 Part 10)
  • H.264/AVC (MPEG-4 Part 10) Pro
  • VC-1 Consumer Version
  • VC-1 Professional Version
  • DVCPRO 25/50
  • DVCPRO 100 (HD)
  • JPEG2000
