The MainConcept DVCPRO HD Add-on is a full-featured Video DVCPRO 25/50/100 transcoding native editing solution for the MPEG Pro HD 3 plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro. The add-on enhances MPEG Pro by the capability to import, edit and export DV and DVCPRO HD with special support for Panasonic P2 camcorder format, including multichannel audio. It is fully compliant with the following standards: DV (IEC-61834), DVCPRO-25 and DVCPRO-50 (SMPTE 314M) as well as DVCPRO-HD (SMPTE 370M). The DVCPRO HD Add-on offers AVI, DIF and MXF (SMPTE 383M - clip wrapped) as import and export formats.
The software also includes a special importer for XML files that describe the relation between video and audio MXF files (one file per channel). This enables users to import corresponding video/audio files in a rush. Using MXF export, you can generate a P2 style folder structure (virtual P2 device) that includes MXF video/audio, XML files and thumbnail bitmaps. It is even possible to add clips to an existing P2 style folder.
Main Concept DVCPRO HD Add-on can only be used when Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 or CS3, and the MainConcept MPEG Pro HD 3 are installed (not included).
