GPU-Xpander 4 provides an economical way to enhance the Input/Output (I/O) power of a computer. GPU-Xpander 4 is a hardware-only solution that expands the I/O capability of a computer by adding slots, power and cooling.
Each GPU-Xpander 4 adds four PCI Express (PCIe) slots to one computer. Add graphics processing units (GPUs) for rendering or mathematical high-performance computing (HPC) to an existing computer with GPU-Xpander 4. An available PCIe x16 slot in your computer can support four double-wide GPUs in GPU-Xpander 4
You need GPU-Xpander 4 if the hardware and software combination you intend to use runs in your computer but causes over-current or overheating problems. GPU-Xpander 4 is a hardware-only solution: no software required. It provides its own power supply and cooling; it requires no power from the host computer. Simply plug a host adapter in a computers’ PCIe slot, connect GPU-Xpander 4, install four double-wide GPUs, power up and install device drivers.
