Wohler AVMFlex58W-SA (Analog and SD-SDI) feature one 5.8" looped CVBS video monitor with flexible VPOD (video peripheral outboard display) gooseneck LCD system and 2-channels, audio monitoring and metering.
The AVMFlex-5W-SA audio/video monitor provides the capability to monitor CVBS or SDI video on an LCD display with full-fidelity stereo audio in the smallest rack size possible (1U).
The unit features a VPOD LCD video display module mounted to the front panel via a flexible gooseneck allowing for extensive control of the viewing angle.
The video display module features a wide-format 5.8" LCD (16:9 aspect ratio) and controls for color, tint/hue (NTSC only), contrast, and brightness as well as a dedicated power LED and bi-color (red/green) tally indication LED.
The LCD automatically detects and displays NTSC or PAL digital video formats.
The rear panel is configured with a CVBS video input with loop-through output on BNC connectors, SDI video input and re-clocked output on BNC connectors, one CVBS video output de-embedded from the SDI input on a BNC connector, two balanced (stereo) analog audio inputs on XLR connectors, two balanced analog audio outputs de-embedded from the SDI audio input on XLR connectors, and two 10-segment LED bargraph level meters.
The audio and video inputs are relayed so that selecting either the CVBS or SDI video source on the VPOD video display module will also select the associated CVBS or SDI audio source.
A pair of balanced XLR connectors output the selected audio source for connection to downstream equipment.
The audio amplifier section features five high performance transducers driven by three power amplifiers: two amplifier/driver combinations handle midrange and high frequency information in stereo (left and right speakers), while the third center channel reproduces information below the 500 Hz crossover point (woofer speaker).
Output limiter circuits are incorporated to protect the speakers, and extensive magnetic shielding allows placement immediately adjacent to magnetically sensitive equipment, such as video monitors.
The unit front panel also features an SDI status LED, Wohler's' proprietary three-LED stereo phase indication feature, volume control, balance pot, power indication LED, and stereo headphone output.
